Curry Leaves Gravy

Recipe Source : Rak's kitchen

All you need is..........
Curry leaves - 1 cup
Onion - 1 (chopped)
Garlic - 12 pods (chopped)
Tamarind - lemon sized (soaked in warm water)
Sambhar powder - 2 tblspn
Turmeric - 1/4 tsp
Pepper powder - 1/2 tsp
Mustard seeds - 1 tsp
Urad dhal - 1 tsp
Cumin - 1 tsp
Toor dhal - 1 tsp
Fenugreek - 1/4 tsp
Oil - 2 tblspn

Get going..........

  1. Wash the curry leaves and grind it with water to a smooth paste.
  2. Heat oil in a kadai and add mustard, urad, toor, cumin and fenugreek for tempering. Then add the onions followed by garlic. Cook them for a few minutes.
  3. Then add the sambhar powder, ground curry leaves, tamarind extract, turmeric and salt. Add enough water and let it boil until the oil separates.
  4. Add pepper and switch off.

Serve it with hot steaming rice and enjoy!!!!!!!!!!!
