Beans Poriyal



Today I saw 'Death at a Funeral'..... It was quite a good enjoyable movie... This post is a very simple one which takes hardly 10 mins to travel from stove-top to table.... Since it does not carry any spices, it goes well with pulikuzhambu or any other dish rich in spices.....




You will need...........

Beans - 200 gms (chopped)
Red Chilli - 2
Mustard seeds - 1/2 tsp
Urad dhal - 1/2 tsp
Salt - to taste
Oil - 1 tsp



Get going..........

  1. Heat a pan with oil.
  2. Season it with mustard, urad and dry red chilli.
  3. The add in you chopped beans and saute for a min.
  4. Add in 1/4 cup of water and the required salt. 
  5. Close with a lid and let it cook for 5 mins until the beans are cooked completely.
  6. Open the lid and stir in till all the water evaporates. That's it!!!!!!!!!!!


Enjoy it with hot rice and curry of your choice!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
